US Supply Chain Specialist

Full-time · Richwood, Cincinnati, Columbus, Ohio, USA

Our purpose

Otrium is a purpose-led business – we see a future where all clothing is worn.

Every year, billions of items are produced globally but are never sold. Clothing goes unworn and often ends up in landfills. This is a huge waste of creative energy, labor, natural resources and investment. Otrium is changing fashion from the inside out: we are an online fashion outlet marketplace and we tech-enable designer brands to find an owner for every item they produce.

Our global business

Founded in Amsterdam and headquartered in the cloud, Otrium also has hubs in New York and London. As a digital-first company, we work around the globe and don’t need to limit our HQ to one location or a single hub. We want to ensure our O-team can work in a way that best fits their needs, whether that’s remote-first, hub-first, or hybrid (50/50).

Otrium is also committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse community of employees with a strong sense of belonging. We believe we are bettered by all forms of diversity, and take pride in working with talent from every walk of life and corner of the world. In the spirit of inclusivity, qualified applicants will be considered without regard to age, ethnicity, ability, gender, gender expression, gender identity, nationality, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

Here’s to freedom, flexibility, and global inclusivity!

Your impact

As a Logistics Supply Chain specialist you'll be working in the heart of the Otrium operation: you'll be responsible for all outbound related activities, delivery and service performance, and for the enormous flow of deliveries from our brand partners. From creating forecasts to share with the warehouse, to contacting brands to arrange deliveries, receiving & checking data, processing data to feed our ERP, it will all be part of your daily activities. We expect you to have a critical view on what you're doing, and the mindset & skills to spot IT or process improvements. You need to be able to tell us what you need in order to double capacity!

Your responsibilities:

  • Being the first line logistics contact for our US operation in terms of inbound and outbound performance and service
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to establish logistics capacities required and working directly with our 3PL delivery and fulfilment partners to deliver it
  • Sharing a weekly outbound forecast with the warehouse, analysing warehouse performance and service delivery
  • Supporting brand partners to deliver on time and in full to our 3PL
  • Overseeing the process of go-live of new items on the platform, making sure the right visuals and product details are on site
  • You will work directly with our 3PL warehouse, communicate with them on a daily basis and visit the warehouse as needed to make sure the physical processes run as smoothly as possible
  • Identifying improvements and work with internal and external partners to deliver them

You are...

  • A professional with 5+ years of experience in inventory management, allocation or in a supply chain role
  • Comfortable in a warehouse environment. Fulfilment or sortation environments preferred
  • Thrive in a high growth environment that requires multi-tasking and prioritisation
  • Analytical and experienced with excel/Google sheets (vlookup, pivot tables, etc)
  • A team player with a "no task is too small" attitude, taking ownership of your tasks
  • A good communicator
  • A critical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Comfortable working with complex processes and have experience working with ERP systems
  • You should be available to go at least 1 time per month to the warehouse in Richwood, Cincinatti

Our values:

Every member of the O-team uses our values in their everyday working lives. They act as our internal manifesto to help us think about how we act as a collective team, and they link directly to our mission: All clothing should be worn.
